Climate change is real and caused by humans. However, a huge number of Americans don't agree and don't know that the vast majority of climate scientists agree that global warming is caused by humans. The media has done a terrible job of laying out the facts, and this has been a significant cause of the confusion.

The only way we're going to make significant progress as a nation in fixing global warming is getting more American people on the same page as the scientists.

On the other hand, 35% of American adults are dismissive, doubtful, or disengaged about climate change. See Yale's Project on Climate Change Communication study for details.

Publication Details:

If this Ad Proposal reaches at least 100% funding, then the Ad will be published on Facebook and shown to many of the approximately 142 million U.S. Facebook users over age 18. The Ad will be published on August 1, 2012, and be live for the entire month of August.

The Ad will only be published if a minimum of $529 is pledged by supporters. If more than $529 is pledged, then the Ad will be shown more often and to more Facebook users. The more money that is pledged the more effective this Ad will be at raising awareness of how humans are causing global warming.
